Why use KEMPEROL liquid applied waterproofing?
KEMPEROL is a liquid applied waterproofing product based on various reaction resins. It is poured on site and then reinforced with fleece. A chemical reaction ensures that after curing the waterproofing is permanently elastic, seamless and adapts perfectly to all structural conditions. The liquid-applied waterproofing achieves a full-surface bond with the substrate, thus providing a long-term protection for the building fabric.
Waterproofing and coating
Waterproofing systems must meet other requirements than coatings. The fleece insert of liquid applied waterproofing ensures, for instance, that the required layer thickness is achieved across the entire area - horizontally, vertically and even overhead. Thanks to the fleece insert, the waterproofing is permanently elastic and features a high tear resistance. Expansion joints and cracks can be bridged permanently and efficiently. Coatings do not offer this property. Although they may feature a certain crack-bridging ability. The requirement profile determines which characteristics a material must have.
